Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Vendopage — including the free catalogue, Store Mode payments, escrow protection, and all related services. They apply to vendors, buyers, and visitors in every country.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Vendopage ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Vendopage.
These terms apply to all users of the platform — vendors, buyers, and visitors — in every country. Vendopage is operated by Vendopage Global Ventures.
Using Vendopage means you've read and accepted these rules. We've written them as clearly as we can. If something isn't clear, message us — we'll explain it.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Vendopage vendor account, accept payments, or use Store Mode. Buyers of any age may browse public store pages.
By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal right and capacity to enter into these terms in your country. If you are opening a Store Mode account, you also confirm that the bank account provided belongs to you or your registered business.
Account Responsibilities
When you create a Vendopage account, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and truthful information — business name, email address, WhatsApp number, and bank details (for Store Mode)
- Keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing your password
- All activity that takes place under your account
- Notifying us immediately at support@vendopage.com or on WhatsApp at +234 701 782 0434 if you suspect unauthorised access
You may not create multiple accounts to evade suspensions, impersonate another person or business, or use Vendopage on behalf of a third party without their authorisation.
Your store URL
Your store URL (vendopage.com/yourname) is chosen at registration and is permanently associated with your account. Vendopage reserves the right to reclaim URLs that are inactive for extended periods, used to impersonate, or in violation of these terms.
Seller Responsibilities
As a vendor on Vendopage, you agree to:
- Only list products or services you have the legal right to sell in your country
- Provide accurate product descriptions, real photos, and honest pricing — no misleading claims
- Honour the terms of every sale you agree to with a buyer
- Ship orders promptly and upload a valid tracking number or driver's contact to the dashboard
- Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws governing your products and business
- Not use Vendopage to collect buyer data beyond what is necessary to fulfil an order
When you enable Store Mode and accept escrow payments, you additionally agree that funds will be held by Vendopage until delivery is confirmed by the buyer or auto-released after 72 hours. You must ship within a reasonable time after payment and provide valid tracking details. Failure to do so may result in a refund to the buyer.
Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer on Vendopage, you agree to:
- Provide an accurate delivery address at checkout
- Confirm delivery promptly once your order arrives — funds are held until you do (or 72 hours auto-release)
- Not raise fraudulent disputes or falsely claim non-delivery
- Contact the seller or Vendopage support if an issue arises before initiating a chargeback with your bank
Buyers who repeatedly raise fraudulent disputes may have their access to Vendopage purchases restricted.
Prohibited Content
The following is strictly prohibited on Vendopage, regardless of country:
Illegal goods and services
- Narcotics, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosive materials
- Stolen, counterfeit, or fraudulent goods
- Products that violate import/export regulations
Harmful content
- Adult, explicit, or pornographic content of any kind
- Any content that exploits, sexualises, or endangers minors
- Content promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Misleading health or medical claims
Intellectual property violations
- Counterfeit branded goods or replicas sold as genuine
- Products infringing trademarks, copyrights, or patents
- Unauthorised use of other businesses' branding or materials
Violation of these rules will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Payments & Store Mode
Vendopage operates in two modes:
Free Catalogue Mode
In Catalogue Mode, buyers contact vendors directly via WhatsApp to complete purchases. Vendopage is not involved in these transactions — payment, delivery, and any disputes are handled entirely between the vendor and buyer. Vendopage takes no commission and processes no payments in this mode.
Store Mode (paid payments)
In Store Mode, vendors can accept direct payments on their Vendopage store. Payments are processed securely via Flutterwave. Vendopage acts as an intermediary holding funds in escrow until delivery is confirmed. By enabling Store Mode, you agree to:
- Providing a verified Nigerian bank account for payouts
- Flutterwave's terms of service for payment processing
- Vendopage's escrow terms as described below
- Any applicable transaction or service fees as communicated in your dashboard
Vendors are solely responsible for any taxes, VAT, duties, or regulatory fees applicable to their sales in their jurisdiction. Vendopage does not collect or remit taxes on your behalf.
Escrow Service
When a buyer pays via escrow in Store Mode, the following applies:
- Funds held: Payment is received by Vendopage and held in escrow — not transferred to the seller — until delivery is confirmed or the 72-hour auto-release period expires.
- Seller obligation: The seller must ship the order and upload a valid courier tracking number or driver's contact number to the dashboard within a reasonable time.
- Buyer confirmation: Once the buyer receives and confirms their order, funds are released to the seller's verified bank account.
- 72-hour auto-release: If the buyer does not respond within 72 hours of the seller marking the order as delivered, funds are automatically released to the seller.
- Direct payment option: Buyers may also choose to pay the seller directly (outside escrow). In this case, Vendopage holds no funds and is not responsible for the outcome of the transaction.
Escrow protection only applies to payments made directly on the Vendopage platform using Store Mode. Payments made via bank transfer, mobile money, or any method outside the platform are not covered by Vendopage escrow.
Delivery & Tracking
For Store Mode orders, sellers are required to:
- Ship the order within a reasonable time after receiving payment confirmation
- Upload a courier tracking number or driver's phone number to the order dashboard
Once tracking details are uploaded, Vendopage automatically sends delivery tracking information to the buyer's registered email address so they can follow their order.
Vendopage is not a courier or logistics provider. We do not arrange or guarantee delivery. We are not liable for delays, lost packages, or damage caused by third-party couriers or drivers.
Disputes & Refunds
If a buyer has not received their order, or the item received does not match the listing, they may open a dispute before confirming delivery. Vendopage will:
- Review the dispute within 48 hours
- Request evidence from both parties (photos, tracking records, messages)
- Issue a fair resolution — either releasing funds to the seller or refunding the buyer
Because funds are held in escrow, the buyer's money has not been sent to the seller at the time of a dispute. This means refunds can be issued promptly when the buyer's claim is valid.
Once a buyer confirms delivery, the transaction is considered complete and funds are released to the seller. Disputes cannot be raised after this point through Vendopage. Please inspect your order before confirming.
For free Catalogue Mode transactions (handled outside the platform), Vendopage cannot mediate disputes and is not responsible for outcomes.
Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Vendopage — including product photos, descriptions, and store information. By uploading content, you grant Vendopage a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your content on the platform for the purpose of operating your store.
Vendopage's branding, interface design, code, and platform features are protected intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of Vendopage's proprietary assets without express written permission.
Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your store page and product listings will be removed. Any pending escrow payouts will be processed first before account deletion is finalised.
Vendopage reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraud, scamming, or harmful activity
- List prohibited content
- Fail to fulfil escrow orders without valid reason
- Receive sustained, verified reports of misconduct from buyers
- Provide false bank account or identity information for payouts
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before terminating your account unless the violation is severe, involves fraud, or puts buyers at risk.
Limitation of Liability
Vendopage is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vendopage and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
Our liability for escrow transactions is limited to the amount of funds actually held in escrow for the specific transaction in question. We are not liable for losses arising from a buyer's or seller's own actions, fraud by third parties, courier failures, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Vendopage after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may delete your account before they take effect.
